Background Information: Neemrana Fort Palace began being built in 1464 AD. It is among India’s oldest heritage resorts. Neemrana became the third capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who was killed in battle by Mohammad Ghori in 1192 AD. This picturesque site was chosen by Raja Rajdeo and Neemrana derived its name from a brave local chieftain Nimola Meo, who when defeated by the Chauhans, pleaded that his name be given to his lost kingdom. –Excerpt from http://archive.neemranahotels.com/neemrana/index.html
Eat:
I certainly do enjoy an omelet from time to time and actually thought mine was delicious until I was made aware of the source of the eggs. Any takers on what eggs may have been supplied? If you guessed pigeon, you are correct. Let’s just say that I will inquire before saying “Bon Appetite,” or आप का खाना स्वादिष्ट हो (āp kā khānā svādiṣṭa ho) in the future.
Pray:
Living in “Incredible India” continues to provide me opportunities to be ever more grateful or God’s grace and mercy. My daily prayers are for those who are discouraged, distraught, and in despair. I do believe that as I continue to walk by and in faith God will bring Psalms 37:4 to life in my life, “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (NIV)
Love:
I love the many colors of India and the many places you can go to shop! Need I say more?
Teach:
I was taught a new card game during the staff retreat as many were deterred from swimming in the green (non-mineral) pool. The games origin as told is infamous but fun nonetheless – Yavar. For those who wish to learn, I look forward to teaching you over the holidayJ. Additionally I learned that there is a “Little Richard” on at least two continents. You will see him in the video. He left me saying, “Good Golly…”
